The Ask
An existing global bank client approached Second Line Advisors to conduct a search for the Americas Head
of Transformation and Remediation. This hire would report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the US
region for the bank and focus on driving the remediation of outstanding enforcement actions, help lead an
enterprise-wide cloud migration, and other business driving priorities in the US on a go-forward basis.
The Process
Second Line Advisors went into the market seeking credibility, hands-on track record for getting things done,
creativity, and remediation experience as the top criteria for candidate selection. The pipeline included
candidates with sector experience across US based banks, foreign banking organizations, and management
consulting firms.
The Result
Second Line Advisors placed a diverse candidate who previously served as Chief Operating Officer at another
global bank. The Head of Transformation placed candidate is a proven transformational executive who has successfully led several enterprise-wide restructuring initiatives with solid regulatory remediation experience. In addition, the candidate has deep experience interacting with the C-suite, Board, and as a point of contact for multiple
regulatory consent orders.
